Hi there, everyone. I'm going to be cosplaying Shadow Yukiko for a summer convention in my city (Animethon). While the con itself is far off, I'd like to get a head start on this cosplay so that I won't feel pressed for time or finances. I'd like to get your advice before I start cutting anything. Your input would be appreciated too, if I end up making progress posts to show you guys how everything's going.

Has anyone done Shadow Yukiko before?

Is there any chance there are some images online that I can use as a reference?

I first learned how to sew about 7 or 8 years ago. I'm not a master at it by any means, but I do know the basics, own my own sewing machines, and have done several sewing projects in the past. N-nothing as big as Shadow Yukiko, though. I usually buy commercial patterns and use those, making minor adjustments if I have to.

I've already bought myself a base pattern and a ton of fabric (everything was 50% off, yet it was still pricey ;_;), though I think I'm too embarrassed to share anything just yet.

 New to this community, and livejournal in general.

I tried to stay up for this last night, but I got home at midnight from my birthday thing, exhausted, I was fighting the sleep and tried real hard, but I end up sleeping like a baby at 2AM, since I'm a certain genie, I have to have this up no matter how tire I am haha :PPP enjoy!

Sitting in a chair, I was actually expecting her in that amazingly hot black number she wore in the MV with the blue lights background, cuz she look HOT! haha

They brought in the CRAZY dancers, haha Jay can freaking make a dance out of any tune, and it's freaking amazing, I love that man. ooooh~ even getting closer too :))))) that's... whew... a bit unexpected for a sweet song like this.

Bom's live singing here seems a bit forced, like she's forcing every word out and she's trying to be loud as she can with his word, maybe sh'e nervous, poor Bom, or maybe I'm just spoiled since I saw Bae's special performance and his singing, but Bom did try her best and this is one freaking awesome song and you can't deny it. I wish she could perform this again to practice her live singing skills, 2NE1 won't be back til next year, so PLEASE YG!!
